After purchasing baby pink and blue night gowns and matching hats, it would be hard to think of anything else but 'Dorothy' from Thoroughly Modern Mille and numerous Doris Day films such as Pillow Talk. Granted, we didn't need to dance around the room singing and dancing 'Baby Face' but it was the 'cherry on top of the icing'. Sugar, spice and all things nice.
One of my absolute favorite tongue and cheek musicals 'Thoroughally Modern Mille', it has everything- Julie Andrews, amazing 20's costumes, kidnapping and 'Raspberries' of Carol Channing. I have yet to do a full on 'modern' post about how 'SWELL, just swell' this film is.
